A JOURNEY to the north west proved to be a rewarding one for north Hampshire travel expert Jane Zollo as she came back with a prize.
The travel specialist, based in Charter Alley, was presented with the 2012 Best Accommodation award in recognition of her hard work and dedication to providing her customers with the highest levels of personal service and attention to detail when booking their travel arrangements.
Jane was one of just 16 out of more than 1,200 agents to be presented with an award at the Travel Counsellors annual conference in Liverpool.
Jane said she was delighted to take home the trophy for her remarkable accommodation sales over the last 12 months.
This was all thanks to the corporate group events that Jane had arranged and managed – for example, 150 guests to Lisbon, 120 to Dublin and 75 to Moscow.
After receiving her award from TV personality Amanda Lamb, Jane said: “I’m thrilled to have won such a prestigious award.
“Using the cutting-edge technology provided by Travel Counsellors, I can source the very best accommodation and travel options for my customers, many of which simply aren’t available on the high street or on the web.
“I think my customers really appre-ciate the level of personal service I can offer by running my own travel business with the support of Travel Counsellors.”
Commenting on the annual conference, Jane said: “I had an incredible time in Liverpool.
“It was a truly inspirational experience and I look forward to sharing the latest travel tips, advice and knowledge I have gained with all my customers.
“I would like to give a special thank you to all of my customers for their loyalty and support.”
Jane, who was also a finalist in the Service Excellence Award category at the INSPIRE12 business awards, added: “When running my own travel business, it is imperative to focus on the personal side, always putting the customer first by going the extra mile to satisfy their needs.
“I always aim to deliver the very best service I possibly can, and as a result I’m delighted to have won this award.
“I’m pleased to say my business is going from strength to strength, and I am looking forward to all that 2013 has to bring.”
