CHRISTMAS tree recycling: If you are looking to dispose of your Christmas tree, there are 21 collection points across the borough where you can take your tree up until January 27.
The nearest collection points for Brighton Hill residents are either the sports pavilion in Gershwin Road or Homebase in Winchester Road.
Alternatively, you can contact 01256 844844 or visit basingstoke.gov.uk/ go/recycle to find out the other locations.
The Christmas trees collected will be chipped and used by the council’s grounds maintenance teams as mulch for flowerbeds.
COMMUNITY Plan open meeting: On Thursday, January 17, between 7pm and 8.30pm at the Cafe Dome, there will be an open meeting to find out how you can get involved in developing a community plan for Brighton Hill.
The aim of a community plan is to involve residents in identifying the key issues that affect their local community.
All local residents are welcome to attend. For further information, contact Simon Christian on 07775 413236 or email simon.christian@basingstoke. gov.uk.
