ASDA's Christmas lights: Were turned on recently.
On Friday, November 10, Salvation Army musicians entertained outside the store and people joined in the carols.
Sally Heather, the new vicar at the Church of Christ the King, switched on the lights and spoke about the importance of Christmas for families.
Trevor Woodget, minister of Basingstoke Baptist Church, had people reflecting on Christmas beginning too early in September.
Hymn sheets were available, with the words of the carols, and we all enjoyed singing along.
VIABLES Christmas craft and gift fair: Was worth visiting on November 12.
In The Barn I admired many beautiful gifts, such as bead-work, bracelets, necklaces, charms and trinket boxes.
