POPPIES: Following the house-to-house collection, Natalie reports a record £1,454.60 was collected.

PARISH council: Notes from the November meeting.
The council is awaiting a date for a court hearing regarding travellers in the bus turnaround.
The Wimpey/Woodrow appeal, to do with development of MoD land in Bramley, began on Tuesday.
Cableway has been repaired.
The parish council has agreed to pay for deposits connected with the annual village fete.
A broken footbridge across the River Loddon near Sherfield Oaks Golf Club is to be removed by the angling club.
The poor condition of the track from Goddards Lane to Greenway was discussed.
Following complaints, the highways authority is reviewing recent roadworks in Breach Lane.
The next meeting is on Wednesday, December 13.
KEN'S Christmas raffle: Tickets are now on sale for Ken's raffle, which is in aid of St Michael's Hospice.
Ken said: "We are now in our 20th year and the prizes are just as great."
LODDON Players: Following last weekend's performances of Daisy Pulls It Off, the players will be reading for their spring production.
This takes place Wednesday, November 29, in Breach Lane Chapel, at 7.45pm.
The players thank all who came.
A sum of £150 was raised through the raffle and this will be split between Children in Need and Macmillan Cancer Support.
