JUMBLE sale: There’s a mega-jumble sale at the Ridgeway Centre on Saturday, starting at 2pm, where there will be lots of bargains because everything must go!
Entry is 30p and refreshments will be available.

CHILTERN Schools: If you are thinking of buying a new imitation tree this year, Chiltern Schools would like your old one. It can be picked up so you don’t need to carry it to the school.
The Ridgeway Centre is also looking for false trees for “The Magic of Christmas” on December 14.

TICKETS: Are now on sale for The Buckskin pub’s Christmas and New Year buffets. Prices are £5 per adult and entry for children is free.
AGM: The Buckskin and Worting Community Association had its annual general meeting on November 10.
A large number of members turned up which always good to see. Four honorary officers were elected and five committee members. All were elected with more than 50 per cent of the vote each.
There’s been a surge in membership this year, which must be put down to the hard work of the committee and one or two members.
