STALAG Happy: This Saturday, starting at 7.30pm at Pamber Heath Memorial Hall. The true and moving story of abstract artists Sir Terry Frost and Adrian Heath’s time in Stalag 383 during the Second World War as portrayed by Edward Elks and Dan Frost (Terry’s grandson).

A unique show, encapsulating both the laughter and pain of life with wry humour and bitter honesty, finding art and beauty in the most terrible of conditions.

ROYAL British Legion (women) Christmas Bazaar: On Saturday, December 12, at Pamber Heath Memorial Hall, doors open at 2pm. Sarah Walker, of Radio Berkshire, will open the bazaar. Entrance 50p, to include a drink and mince pie.

There will be lots of different stalls. All proceeds will go to the Women’s Section Benevolent Fund.

VILLAGE carol concert: Will be held on Tuesday, December 15, at Pamber Heath Memorial Hall, starting at 7.30pm. This very popular annual event really gets Christmas off to a great start!

Entrance is £1.50, to include a mince pie, drink and free raffle ticket.
