A PROFIT: The Hatch Warren fireworks show made a profit of more than £5,000 this year, which will help the funding of the community centre.
So, not only was it an excellent night for the community, it will benefit Hatch Warren through the whole year.
WHINGERELLA and the Scary Godmother: Don’t forget to book your children’s tickets if you want them to attend the show on Saturday.
It is aimed at four to 10- year-olds and starts at 2pm.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
CHRISTINGLE service: Immanuel Church has its Christingle service at 4pm on Sunday. This is a childfriendly service which is always popular with families.
Immanuel meets at the Church Centre at St Mark’s School, Danebury Road.
SECURITY: With the Christmas season approaching, the police are advising that presents be kept out of sight and that we take extra care in securing our homes.
There was a burglary in Hatch Warren recently, where a thief entered through an open downstairs window.
We all need to be careful to make sure that this Christmas is one to remember for all the right reasons.
