SOCIAL and Entertainment Club: Due to unforseen circumstances, today’s evening meeting has unfortunately had to be cancelled.
ALI Baba and the Forty Thieves: The village panto!
Tickets are apparently selling fast, which is gratifying, so please make sure that you grab a member of the cast and get your demands in early. If you don’t have easy access to a cast member, you can always call Angie Fewster on 475848, or e-mail her at angie@fewster.me.uk.
There will be singing, dancing, audience participation, baddies, goodies, quests, treasure, enthusiastic overacting (well, it is panto), mystic jewels, cross-dressing and a camel. What more do you want?
Angie would like to convey her thanks to all those who responded to her requests for help on the door and with refreshments.
If anyone would like to assist with the bar, however, we are still looking for wannabe bar staff, so do get in touch.
Just to reiterate, tickets are £7.50 for adults, free to under-16s, and we are asking that any children who are willing to do so sit on the mats at the front, as ticket sales are going so very well.
Please let Angie (or whoever you collar for tickets) know if your offspring are happy to be mat-dwellers for the duration.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
