CHRISTMAS Delights: Graham King will be making a return visit tomorrow to Bramley Village Hall to demonstrate for Bramley and Romans Floral Society from 7.30pm. This is one of the society’s special open meetings and will include the Christmas supper.
A feature of this party is that wrapped gifts are brought along on the evening.
This year, they will be donated through the Salvation Army to families of personnel at RAF Odiham serving abroad. The gifts will be a small reminder that they are in our thoughts. Tickets are £8, or £5 for members.
PARISH council: Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month, except August, in the Bramley Room at the village hall. The next meeting will be on December 21.
At the November meeting, grant applications for 2010/11 were considered from the Clift Meadow Trust and Bramley Village Hall Trust.
Grants that were agreed were £5,000 to the Clift Meadow and £3,000 to the village hall.
The parish budget and precept for 2010/11 will be discussed and finalised at the December meeting.
Representatives of Little Apples Playgroup attended, answered a question about the fencing around the proposed building and indicated that a planning application would be submitted shortly. The representative for Friends of Farriers Group said that they would wait for the application to be made and then take advice.
BRAMLEY Scout Group delivery service: Will soon be available for your Christmas cards for delivery by the boys of the Bramley Scout Group to addresses in the village, Sherfield-on- Loddon and Little London.
