VILLAGE Christmas tree: Was switched on last Sunday, and a very large crowd made the “countdown”.
The bucket collection will go to the Air Ambulance.
CHRISTINGLE service: Was very well supported with a congregation of 110. The collection will go to Barnados.
ADVENT and Christmas gifts: From Rex and Louise at Impstone Lodge, Soke Road. Proceeds to charity.
Open most days, just come along, browse and buy.
BEAT surgery: On Sunday, in the hall car park from 10am. There have been several thefts and break-ins, so be vigilant and check your locks!
CHARITY quiz: In the Calleva on Wednesday from 8pm. Proceeds to Shelter.
RED Riding Hood panto: In the village hall on January 29 and 30 and February 5 and 6. Tickets are now on sale from 0118 9815600. Book early.
CHRISTMAS market: There is no market in January. The next date is Saturday, February 6.
LESSONS and carols: In church on Sunday, at 4pm.
Come along and join in with the well-known carols.
