GOODBYE and thanks for everything: Rotherwick was well represented by both our Reverend Peters and churchwardens along with our Mattingley and Heckfield colleagues at the final official service attended by the Bishop of Basingstoke and his wife last Sunday at the dedication of the new West Window in St John’s, Hook.
Bishop Trevor and Margaret have given us much support and encouragement in the formation of the new Whitewater Benefice that pairs us with Hook, and we wish them both much happiness and good luck in their new role over in Dover and Canterbury.
CHIP off the old block: Bring your unchipped pooch to the community centre in Hook on Tuesday, where the parish council, working with Hart District Council, is offering subsidised microchipping for dogs as a promotion towards responsible dog ownership. The cost will be £15 for the first dog and additional dogs can be implanted for just £10 each.
Call the Hart Dog Warden on 01252 622122.
