JUMBLE sale: “Have a Heart”, a charity for underprivileged children, will be holding this week’s sale starting at 2pm in East Oakley Village Hall on Saturday.
SCOUTS to the rescue! The Oakley Scout Group is once again operating their local Christmas post service. For just 15p per item, cards will be delivered throughout Oakley village.
This does not cover Newfound.
Cards from senior citizens and from disabled people will be delivered free of charge.
Cards and appropriate payment can be handed in to any of the collection points listed in Link, including Buttercups Cafe and Sarna the Chemist. No cards will be accepted after noon on December 21. Please make sure that your cards have the full address clearly written on them.
ST LEONARD’S Centre news: The new extension is ahead of schedule and it is hoped that it will be ready for use before the end of the year.
