ADVENT fair: Bramley Village Hall was packed with a huge variety of stalls on November 28.
Almost 300 children visited Santa Claus and the children’s activity room was a hive of activity.
The WI had an array of home-made sweets and the tea room was busy. Background music and a running commentary added to the festive atmosphere.
Well done to the Bramley School Association and village hall trustees for a great day for families and the organisations raising their funds.
STAMPS: As your Christmas cards arrive, please remember to save those used stamps and let me have them for St Michael’s Hospice.
COMING to town: Father Christmas has announced his routes. Hope you caught him earlier.
His last visit will be next Thursday, from about 6.15pm at Bramley Inn, Farrier’s Close area, Strawberry Field and offshoots, Sherfield Road and offshoots, Moat Close, Bromlia and back to Bramley Inn.
Organiser is the Loddon Valley Lions Club, which will be pleased to receive donations and any spectacles and hearing aids that you no longer require.
BRAMLEY Scouts’ delivery service: Last reminder for the group’s delivery service from the post boxes which are in place at the village hall, Clift Surgery, Bramley Bakery and the Shop at Sherfield.
Please address clearly. The service is by donation placed in the post box. These postboxes are emptied regularly and will be closed on December 15.
