MY family and I had a blast at an open-air cinema screening of Sing at the beautiful Stansted Park, near Rowlands Castle in Hampshire.

Adventure Cinema, which put on the event, calls itself the UK's No. 1 open-air cinema shows, and with more than 300 outdoor cinema events across the UK, it's easy to see why!

Its 2024 season is already on sale, and after our experience, I can’t wait to go to more of its shows.

Stansted Park is a stunning spot with a rich history dating back to the 11th century. Watching a movie on the lawn in front of the charming mansion was absolutely picturesque. The whole setup, including accessible toilet facilities and free parking, made everything super convenient.

Even though my seven-year-old son and I had seen Sing before, we still loved it just as much this time. There's something magical about watching a movie outside under the stars. The vibe was fun and family-friendly, and the food stalls selling ice cream, burgers, and chips were a hit. We snacked away, enjoying every bite while watching the film.

We got there right on time, probably the last family to arrive. We forgot to bring picnic mats, but the staff at the ticket booth were awesome. Not knowing I was reviewing the show, a kind staff member upgraded us to deck chairs, which made the whole experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.

The quality of the screen and speakers was top-notch. The huge screen gave us clear, crisp visuals, and the sound system was amazing, making sure every song and line was crystal clear. It really added to the overall fun of the evening.

Although the screenings at Stansted Park are over for now, Adventure Cinema will be back next year. They also have shows at various venues around the country. If you’re looking for a memorable and unique cinema experience, I highly recommend checking out Adventure Cinema. It’s a perfect way to spend quality family time while enjoying the great outdoors.
