AN ICE spectacle has added an extra night in Basingstoke due to popular demand – and it will help raise money for a good cause.
Chiller: A Musical Journey Through the Life of Michael Jackson on Ice is now coming to Planet Ice Basingstoke for two nights, tonight and tomorrow, at 7.30pm.
The show is a spectacular display of world-class skaters to the soundtrack of Michael Jackson’s life, from his formative years with the Jackson Five until his modern hits.
The show features performances by Olympic skaters including Jenna McCorkell – before she heads to the Winter Olympics to represent Great Britain in Vancouver – and her husband, European Bronze Medallist Kevin van der Perren.
They will be joined by Vicky Ogden – of Dancing On Ice fame – and a host of other skating champions and medallists, including Russian pair Fiona Zaldua and Dimitry Sukhanov, and British Men’s Champion Matthew Parr.
The additional Friday performance, on December 11, will be supporting the Help For Heroes, with 10 per cent of takings going towards the charity which provides vital support for wounded servicemen and women.
Tickets can be booked by calling 01256 355266 or for more information go online to thearenagroup.co.uk.
