BASINGSTOKE Ladies' Choir will present their annual Mayor's Charity Concert at the United Reformed Church, in London Street.
This year their guests are the famous Cotswold Male Voice Choir from Cheltenham. The men from Gloucestershire are no strangers to Basingstoke, as this is their sixth visit.
A deep friendship has been formed between the two choirs and Basingstoke Ladies' Choir members have sung several times as guests in Cheltenham.
The Mayor's Charity Appeal this year is to be split between four very good causes - the refurbishment of the kitchen for the Salvation Army in Wessex Close, Saxon Wood School, Limington House School and Hospital Radio, Basingstoke.
Support the appeal and enjoy an evening of first-class singing at the same time.
The concert takes place on Saturday, November 18, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from Kathy Ling on 01256 476646, from Dawson's music shop in Festival Place, or on the door on the evening.
