MASSEY Brian Passed away peacefully at Alexandra Grange Care Home on 6th October 2022, aged 100 years. Brian was a Basingstoke Queen Mary's Grammar School boy, class of 1939. He enjoyed exploring on his bike with the St Michael Church group friends. He joined the RAF as Radio Ground Crew WW2. His best friend Michael Burnaby was killed whilst bombing a german airfield in France just prior to D-Day 1944. He met his wife Joan after the war at teacher training college. He spent his career teaching at St John's Junior School, Basingstoke. He was a great dad to his children, Peter, John, David and Simon. Grandfather to Andrew and Sian, great grandfather to Rose, Georgia, Noah and Max. He loved his wife Joan who pre-deceased him after a long illness, during which he looked after her throughout. He was a good man, good husband and a good dad. His happiness was his family and we loved him and pulling his leg. Funeral service to held on Friday 4th November at St Leonard's Church, Oakley at 12.30pm followed by a committal in the burial ground.
