PEARCE Derek "Del Boy" Passed away peacefully on Saturday 16th September 2023, aged 87 years. Derek will be sadly missed by his sons Dean and Jamie, family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Basingstoke Crematorium on Thursday 19th October at 11:45am. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Guide Dogs for the Blind c/o Spencer & Peyton Funeral Directors Tel: 01256 323165

So, so sorry to read this. Always lots of banter with you, dear ‘Dirk’. I remember you making me record you singing My Way over 20 years ago, saying you wanted it played at your funeral…and now I’ve gone and missed it. So many happy memories xxx

Oh I am so sad to hear that 'Del Boy' has passed, whilst recalling that local football was very important to him, I value the time when we worked together at Portals in Overton. Very adept at maintaining professionalism within his work whilst simultaneously injecting buckets of humour, That was over 30 years ago but I still remember a lot of the comedy ... absolutely loved working with him, I will ne forever grateful to him for his mentoring and friendship. What a great guy ! He will never will be forgotten. Massive condolences to Dean and Jamie and the rest of the family.
