KNIGHT Michael (Mike, Mick) Passed away peacefully on Thursday 2nd November 2023 with his family around him. Mike will be dearly missed by his wife, Marion, daughters Deborah and Lorraine, Sons-in-law Simon and Tony, granddaughter Grace and family and friends. Funeral service will be held at Basingstoke Crematorium at 11.00am on Thursday 16th November 2023. Wear any colour. Dear Marion, Deborah, Lorraine & family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing, I am also sorry not to be able to attend his funeral today, I dearly would like to have attended on behalf of me and my family.
Mike was a true Basingstoke rugby club supporter, and always had a friendly hello to greet you when entering the clubhouse - he always made a point of asking how we got on when returning from an away game and also asked after the family. A true gentleman.
There are precious few 'old school' BRFC stalwart's remaining, I considered mike to be very much one of those, he will be missed.
I will be thinking of you all and Mike today and send you all my love.
