Passed away at Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock on 1st November 2024, just a month short of his much anticipated 90th birthday.
Beloved husband of Belle, he is reunited with his late sons Andy and John and his daughter Flora who was born sleeping.
A proud grandfather and great-grandfather, brother and uncle, John was a friend to many and a well known presence in his home village of Symington.
His funeral service will take place at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn on Monday 25th November at 1:30pm to which family and friends are invited.
