A THREE-vehicle crash on the M3 at Basingstoke has led to congestion this morning.

The collision took place at 6.57am on the northbound carriageway, near to junction 7 at Dummer. It involved three cars in the outside lane of the carriageway.

An ambulance was called for one of the drivers, a man in his 50s, who was feeling unwell. None of the drivers suffered serious injuries in the crash.

The outside lane of the carriageway has been closed so that the cars can be removed from the motorway. Congestion stretched back to junction 9 near Winchester.
