SCHOOLS have closed, businesses are sending staff home and much of Basingstoke has come to a stand-still this morning as the town is hit with heavy snow.
The Met Office issued a weather warning yesterday, predicting heavy snow from 9am in Basingstoke, lasting throughout the day. But the reality was, by 7am the snow was already settling.
The Gazette staff braved the weather to reach our offices in Pelton Road. Watch our videos below of staff clearing snow from the drive.
Send us links to your videos, or email your snow pictures to emily.roberts@basingstokegazette.co.uk.
