TV presenter Keith Chegwin is set to skate again tonight in Dancing on Ice.
The 56-year-old, who lives in Ashmansworth, narrowly avoided being booted out in the first week after finding himself in the bottom two against Baywatch star Pamela Anderson. But Keith, who has been rehearsing at Planet Ice in Basingstoke, was given a second chance by the judging panel, who unanimously voted to save him, and he will perform again tonight.
Last week, he had a break from the ice, as the other six celebrities who did not perform in the first show danced their routines, with The Only Way is Essex star Lauren Goodger being voted out.
Keith, who spoke to The Gazette during a rehearsal at Planet Ice, asked Basingstoke residents to back him in tonight’s competition, when he skates against all the remaining contestants in the ITV show. On Twitter today he said: “It’s a corker of a show tonight.”
You can watch Keith skating in tonight’s show at 6.15pm. The results show is on at 8.30pm. Follow reporter @erobertsgazette on Twitter for live comments on the programme and Keith’s performance.
