A CYCLIST knocked a woman to the ground as she waited for a bus in Basingstoke.
The incident took place as the 62-year-old woman stood at stand F at Basingstoke bus station, at around 5pm on Monday, January 21.
The cyclist, said to be riding at speed through the station, collided with the woman from behind, and rode off.
The woman sustained injuries to her leg and head. She did not see the cyclist’s face but believes it was a man.
PC Will Butcher said: “The bus station would have been very busy at that time of day and I am aware that a number of people did see what happened.
“I am very keen to speak to these people to ascertain what they saw.”
Anyone with information can contact PC Butcher at Basingstoke police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
