A PAIR of children’s authors are searching Basingstoke for storytelling talent.
The competition, Storytelling Superstar 2013, will reward its winner with a year’s worth of tokens for children’s books in return for a riveting demonstration of how a story can be brought to life.
Francesca Simon, the author of the Horrid Henry books, and Lauren Child, the mind behind the Ruby Redfort and Clarice Bean books, form the judging panel.
The winner will be announced on World Book Day on March 7.
