Police supervise clearing up after the accident on Monday in which two people were killed
Police have named the drivers who died following a collision near Whitchurch on Monday.
The accident happened at 6.44am at Cole Henley Road and involved a green Ford Mondeo driven by Roland Holliehead, 65, from Riding Gate, Wincanton in Somerset and a silver Renault Clio driven by Kathryn Rose Hunt, 35, of Jacklyns Lane, Alresford.
Both drivers died at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, or for anyone who saw either vehicle prior to it, to contact PC James Gallimore at Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Mellphone.
