A GANG of masked armed robbers got away with a box of cash after holding up a security van at Basingstoke hospital.
At 11.40am on Tuesday, November 28, two men dressed in dark clothing and with their faces covered, entered the reception area of the hospital and assaulted a guard as he was making a delivery to a cash machine.
The men took the guard's cash box, which contained a substantial amount of money, and made off in a dark-coloured vehicle.
They were seen driving at speed away from the hospital in an erratic manner.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
