Car fire causes delays on M3
MOTORISTS faced delays yesterday evening after a car caught on fire on the motorway.
Fifteen firefighters from Basingstoke fire station were called to the incident at 5.45pm yesterday at junction 6 southbound of the M3 to extinguish the fire.
Police closed lanes two and three to help and they have both since reopened.
No-one was injured.
