OVERTON Parish Council may be forced to increase the price of allotment plots to £8.50 a year.
The council discussed the possibility of a price increase at their latest meeting.
Some councillors suggested raising the fee from the current £7.50 a year to £10 a year, but many disagreed, as it would be too steep an increase.
The council to discuss all of the options with current plot owners before any change is made.
