TOM Quante works for Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT), which offers full-time courses, apprenticeships and part-time/leisure courses to 14-year-olds and over in the local area.
Working within the marketing and admissions department, his role sees him interact and help school leavers in Basingstoke and beyond in making key decisions about their career and progression to college.
Tom graduated in 2010, in Criminology, from the University of Portsmouth, and has enjoyed working with young people ever since. He wants to continue working in education marketing and firmly believes that everybody gets a second chance.
Away from the college he is a volunteer for a young person’s charity, Catch 22.
His most recent achievement was helping BCoT raise more than £1,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
He is also proud of presenting a documentary on charities around Reading, completing his degree and of where he works.
