THE 30th anniversary of an animal toy collection was celebrated in Whitchurch.
Fans of Sylvanian Families visited the town to enjoy the annual shopping event.
The animal friends were in the Gill Nethercott Centre and Whitchurch Silk Mill over the weekend of June 27 and 28, for the seventh shopping weekend, held this year as part of the Basingstoke Festival programme.
Various activities entertained the crowds including competitions, creative activities held in a marquee and visits from giant Sylvanian characters, who performed a special song and dance on the Silk Mill lawn.
Organiser Angela Harwood, who runs a Sylvanian Families shop in London, said thousands of collectors attended, adding: “They all enjoyed meeting the Sylvanian characters and joining in with the songs and dances from the Sylvanian show, creative activities and extensive shopping area.”
