DAVID Kemshall is membership manager and office manager for Hampshire Chamber’s north Hampshire office.
He joined the business support organisation in September 2014.
He is based at Absolutely Offices in Chineham, which is the hub for all chamber membership, events and international trade services in north Hampshire.
Prior to joining Hampshire Chamber, he worked at clothing retailer Primark in Basingstoke, where he secured successive promotions over six years.
He is proud to work at Hampshire Chamber of Commerce which is the independent voice of local business across the county, and is one of the largest regional business networks in the UK, working with more than 2,000 firms.
1. Who was your childhood hero and why? Dennis Bergkamp.
2. What is your most precious possession and why is it important to you? Wireless Sonos Soundbar – expensive and I use it every day.
3. What was the first record/CD you bought? WWF – Slam Jam.
4. What is the radio/television show you hate to miss? Top Gear when it is on!
5. What is your favourite film? Friends with Benefits.
6. What is your pet hate? Rudeness.
7. What are you reading at the moment? The Gazette – I don’t read books.
8. If you were choosing a last meal, what would it be? Nandos.
9. If you could meet anyone from history, who would it be? My grandfather.
10. If you had a time machine where would it take you? Back to 2001 when I was 16.
11. If you were stranded on a desert island what luxury would you choose to have with you? Satellite phone.
12. What sports team do you support? Arsenal.
13. What was your first job? Bank cashier.
14. If you could take over someone’s job for the day, whose job would you choose? Jeremy Clarkson.
15. What worries you the most? Death.
16. What is your proudest moment? Running Tough Mudder in 2013.
17. What would you like your epitaph to be? Loving, gentle giant with a big heart who loved kisses and cuddles.
18. What’s your guilty pleasure? Watching TOWIE.
19. What one thing could change society for the better? Hard work ethic for all.
20. What three words best describe you? Caring, loving, romantic.
