Trains cancelled from Basingstoke due to urgent engineering work
TRAINS between London Waterloo and Basingstoke have been cancelled today due to urgent engineering work.
Stopping service trains between Basingstoke train station and London Waterloo have been cancelled and other trains between the stations could take an hour longer than planned.
The lines between Woking and Basingstoke will also be closed on Saturday, affecting many long-distance services.
Additional hourly services will be in place for certain journeys from Basingstoke and replacement buses will also be running.
South West Trains has advised travellers to check their journeys ahead of arriving at the station.
