THESE are the images that show a fire which destroyed two cars in Chineham last night.
Firefighters were called to Chineham Shopping Centre’s car park at 5.44pm, on Wednesday April 19, where two cars were on fire.
Two engines from Basingstoke fire station attended the incident, where two hose reels, foam and four sets of breathing-apparatus were used to extinguish the two vehicles.
Both cars were completely destroyed by the fire.
An eyewitness said: “I’d only popped into Boots to pick up some shampoo and then couldn’t leave as the car outside blew up, unfortunately taking the car next to it with it.”
No one was injured in the incident and the cause of the fire is unknown.
The fire service finished tackling the blaze at 6:40pm.
