A BASINGSTOKE parkour specialist who has performed stunts for Hollywood blockbusters has recreated a stunt in a bowling alley which went viral.
Chase Armitage - a freerunner and Parkour specialist who has performed stunts for films including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - has had a number of videos go viral, including a bowling stunt which had over 8m views online.
In the video from 2016, he spins on his side before releasing the bowling ball, knocking down all ten pins for a strike.
Now, to show it was no fluke, Chase was invited to Hollywood Bowl Basingstoke - where he originally filmed the stunt - on Thursday, 2 November, to recreate the stunt which he did successfully.
Hollywood Bowl Basingstoke has donated the monetary value of Chase’s total score of 90 to its nominated charity Spotlight, which provide affordable activities to all ages to increase confidence, self-esteem and social interaction across Basingstoke as well as providing free support to vulnerable families across the local area.
Spotlight is working towards taking children to London as part of a confidence building exercise involving them performing at a leading West End theatre.
