OVERTON had a spook-tacular event to bring the community together for Halloween.
Overton Memorial Institute, in London Road, held a pumpkincarving event on October 27, where visitors had the chance to create their own designs.
The institute, which is affiliated with the British Legion, elected a new secretary, Sharron Budge, and chairperson, Caroline Stroner, this year in March. Their priority was to bring more family events back to the venue, known as the Stute. It will be closed on November 14 for a new beer dispensation system to be installed.
