TWO children were taken to Basingstoke hospital after a head on collision in North Warnborough.
The A287 was closed in both directions following an incident involving five vehicles this morning, between the B3349 Hook Road and Broad Oak Lane.
Emergency services responded to the incident, which took place at 8.03am today (December 19), with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) sending three ambulances, the air ambulance rapid response car, an officer in a rapid response vehicle and one vehicle from the Hazardous Area Response Team.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Basingstoke and Rushmoor to cut two casualties from their vehicles, with a total of six people involved in the incident.
One man, who was mechanically released from his car, sustained minor injuries, with three women being assessed at the scene and treated for minor injuries.
Two children were taken to Basingstoke hospital to be assessed, but there are no obvious signs of injury to either of them.
