A MAN has pleaded guilty to a drunkenly tresspassing in a fish and chip shop.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard on Tuesday, 16 January, how Dean Randall, 43 of Bishopswood Road, Tadley, on New Year’s Day this year broke in to Franklin Special Fry, in Franklin Avenue, after celebrating the new year.
The shop owners heard a disturbance and saw Randall, who had got inside through a back door, trying to cover his face.
The owners later discovered damaged to the door. Randall admitted he had drunk a lot and could not remember the incident.
District Judge Anthony Callaway sentenced Randall to four months in custody, suspended for 12 months, and a rehabilitation activity requirement for the charge of burglary with intent to commit damage.
