A DREAM more than three years in the baking is set to come true.
Cake the Biscuit was founded by owner Maxine Tollett three years ago where she went from a hobby baker to business owner and Cake the Biscuit is officially opening the doors of its new premises on Saturday at Unit 6 of the Viables Craft Centre.
Maxine was a teaching assistant and emotional literacy support assistant at Great Binfields Primary School for eight years where she first took her cake making skills to school, allowing the children to participate in cake baking and decorating.
Now, after three years the business has grown enough to expand to new premises and solely concentrate on building the business to its full potential.
The business will offer bespoke cakes for special occasions, decorated biscuits as gifts and cupcakes.
Cake the Biscuit will also be offering cupcake decorating workshops for children during the half terms and holidays and adult workshops throughout the year as well as offering parties for birthdays, baby showers and hen parties.
