A SPECIAL treat was in store for the children’s ward at Basingstoke hospital just before Christmas.
Those on the ward had a visit from some special guests when some of the stars of this year’s Anvil pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs came to visit on Friday, 21 December.
They were warmly welcomed by staff and families, with the children especially excited to meet them.
Muddles, played by Chris Pizzey, who also directed the pantomime, was joined by the Queen (Kirsty Sparks) and Lucy Oliver, one of the villagers.
Joining them were four of the seven dwarfs, Grouchy (Darius Ashard), Smiler (Ali Mawji), Pop (Kieran Dumont) and Sneezer (Emma Jones).
The cast met many of the children on the ward and said they enjoyed their time at the hospital.
