THE Basingstoke skyline was awash with colour once more as hundreds of people enjoyed the annual Kite Festival.
Families flocked to Down Grange over the weekend to part take in the 27th annual event.
Visitors enjoyed glorious weather across the weekend as they watched impressive arena displays by a host of guest kite flyers from across the UK and further afield including Germany and France.
It wasn’t just the spectacular designs in the skies which people in attendance enjoyed, with a whole host of arena activities taking place.
Guests were also able to have a ride in go-karts, bungee trampolines and much more.
Children were also given the opportunity to design their own kite at one of the workshop stalls, with the winners being presented certificates by the mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Cllr Diane Taylor.
The event at Down Grange was held over two days.
