During last night's thunder storm, an unlikely fire gave residents of one Basingstoke street quite a scare.
A fire crew from the Basingstoke station were called to Petrel Croft in Kempshott last night, at 10.14pm.
They went there to put out a fire in an electrical junction box which had been hit by lightning.
However, when they got there, they found a small fire had already gone out, lightning fast.
After talking to locals, they headed back at 10.39pm.
Lightning during the winter is unusual, but two storms happened in the UK last night.
