An alleged child sex offender has been referred to crown court for trial.
Rhys Brian Jones, of Tadley, was arrested as part of a police sting operation where an officer pretended to be a 13-year-old girl.
Mr Jones, 25, was accused of three offences, including sending indecent messages to an under-age person.
Prosecutors said "Mr Jones sent images of himself masturbating to the account operated by a police officer.
"The officer owning the account made it clear that he was messaging a 13-year-old, and Mr Jones acknowledged this."
District Judge Pattinson said: "It is clear to me that these are matters which should be heard in the crown court."
The trial was referred to Winchester Crown Court for the 15th of January, with unconditional bail.
