A NURSE at St Thomas Care Home in Basingstoke has celebrated 25 years of working at St Thomas Care Home.
Anna Jacob, who is a Registered Mental Health Nurse, started at Barchester in May 1995 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.
The nurse has received a prestigious Long Service Award in recognition of her achieving this career milestone.
Jane McFarlane, Employee Services Director at Barchester said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Anna has achieved this milestone. It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”
Helena Hawkins, General Manager of St Thomas Care Home said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating Anna’s years of loyal service with St Thomas . She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year. I speak for all of us here at St Thomas when I say that I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Anna!”

St Thomas provides dementia care for 67 residents from respite care to long term stays.
