THIEVES broke into a farm near Basingstoke during an early hours burglary this week.
The incident happened at around 4am on Friday at a farm on Baughurst Road, in Baughurst.
Police say the culprits broke into a large barn, activating the alarm which caused them to flee.
Damage was caused to the barn but nothing was said to have been taken from within.
However, a 20-litre jerry can full of diesel fuel was found stolen from the farm.
It is believed the burglars accessed the location via neighbouring land.
Officers also say that a Subaru Forester was captured on CCTV in the area at around 3am. Three or more people were seen in the vehicle.
