A MAN from Rooksdown has been conditionally discharge after damaging two vehicles.
Steven Ashmore, of Meadowside Court, pleaded guilty to damaging the vehicles last week, as well as a public order offence.
He was conditionally discharged for 12 months, and ordered to pay compensation of £60 for each vehicle damaged.
Additionally, the 57-year-old was made to pay £30 in costs.
A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of Tracy Donnelly last week.
The 45-year-old Basingstoke woman was due to appear at Magistrates Court charged with failing to comply with supervision requirements following her release from prison.
However, she did not turn up to court, and so a warrant for arrest was ordered.
Ms Donnelly is accused of living at an address other than the one approved by her supervisor, as well as failing to attend Inclusion, a drug rehabilitation centre.
She has not admitted or denied the charges.
A SOUTH HAM man will stand trial accused of stealing lead and having a knife in a public place.
Paul Thomas Cooper, of St Peters Road, allegedly stole the metal from Marc Warren in Basingstoke on July 15, 2019.
It is estimated that the value of lead was £2,800.
Additionally, he has pleaded not guilty to being seen in Kingsclere Road on May 13, 2020 with a knife, as well as being in possession of tools "for use in the course of, or in connection with, theft".
The 51-year-old will appear at Winchester Crown Court on August 12 for the lead theft, and has been released on unconditional bail.
For the other charges, he will face summary trial at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on August 28.
In connection with those charges, he has been released on conditional bail, whereby he has been given a curfew and must live and sleep at his home address.
A MAN from London will stand trial accused of the assault of two police officers earlier this summer.
Gavin Byfield, of Edinburgh Close, denies beating PC Gibson and PC Scammell at Foxs Lane, near Highclere on June 12.
The 35-year-old elected summary trial, and has been remanded into custody pending the trial at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on July 28.
A MAN from South Ham has been charged with having a defective tyre.
Cleuber Andrade Lima, of Baird Avenue, is charged with the ply or cord being exposed of his front offside and rear nearside wheel.
The 23-year-old was driving his Volkswagen Polo in May Place at the time.
He will appear at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on August 11, where the case will be heard.
He has not entered any plea.
A HAMPSHIRE man will be sentenced after being caught using his mobile phone whilst driving.
David Ronald Bull, of Hill Place, Bursledon, was caught driving his Ford Transit between junctions 7 and 6 of the M3 when he was using his phone.
The 50-year-old was found guilty via single justice procedure next week, and the sentencing has been adjourned to consider disqualification.
The case will next be mentioned on September 3 at Aldershot Magistrates' Court.
