A TEENAGER was threatened with a knife and had his bike stolen in a Basingstoke play park.
The 16-year-old boy was sat with two friends on a bench in the park between Oakridge Road and Shakespeare Road yesterday evening (Friday, October 23) when he was approached by two other teenagers, thought to be 17 or 18.
At some point between 8.40pm and 9.20pm, the two teenagers asked to borrow the victim's bike - a black Carrera Vengeance pushbike.
When he refused, they threatened him with a knife and stole the bike before heading off in the direction of Oakridge Road.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses in the area at the time to come forward with information.
One of the suspects is described as male, white, 6ft tall, skinny, wearing a beanie hat and dark clothing.
The other was described as male, white, more than 6ft tall, chunky, wearing grey clothing.
The bike was later recovered in the Popley area.
