A man in his seventies will appear in court next month charged with sexual assaulting.
Jeffrey Quirk, of Reading Road in Stratfield Turgis, is charged with two counts of sexual assault.
The 73-year-old pleaded not guilty to the second charge at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court earlier this week, and did not enter a plea to the first.
He will appear at Winchester Crown Court on February 17, and has been released on conditional bail.
A Popley man has admitted assaulting a woman and destroying some of her belongings.
Samuel Vincent Rolfe, of Cayman Close, pleaded guilty to assaulting the woman in Basingstoke on Sunday, January 17.
He further admitted destroying numerous items belonging to the same woman in Basingstoke on December 27, 2020.
The 20-year-old is further charged with using violence to secure entry into a property in Taverner Close, Oakridge on December 27, as well as the assault of a second person.
He has denied those two charges.
Rolfe has been released on conditional bail, and must not enter Taverner Close.
He will stand trial at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on August 2.
A man from Popley has been charged with harassing a woman.
Gage Leon Berry, of Dryden Close, is charged with harassing the woman in October last year.
He has been released on conditional bail until he is expected to return to court on February 1, to enter a plea.
The 24-year-old must not contact the victim.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of a man charged with having a meat cleaver in Black Dam.
Dale Michael Lewis, of St Peter's Road, was in possession of the offensive weapon in a public place, Westfield Road, on July 28, 2020.
The 41-year-old was due to appear in court earlier this week.
Court documents reveal that a warrant for arrest was issued. He has not entered a plea.
The case of a London man charged with assaulting a woman in Chineham has been dismissed.
Arron Richard McEvoy, of Rotherhithe Street, had denied assaulting the woman on Christmas Eve 2019.
He had further denied breaking the same woman's window and threatening her via Whatsapp.
All charges were dismissed by District Judge Timothy Pattinson earlier this week.
A Basingstoke man has denied assaulting a woman.
Matt Kaleb Donaldson, of Winchester Road, has pleaded not guilty to assaulting the woman in May 2020, and to driving without due care and attention in West Ham Lane on the same day.
He will stand trial in August.
A man has admitted a public order offence at Basingstoke police station.
Jack Michael Dean, of Chuntsingers Road in Alton, pleaded guilty to cuasing Steven Kinkaid harassment, alarm or distress through threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
It happened at the police investigation centre in Jays Close on Sunday, January 17.
The 20-year-old further admitted assaulting police officer Craig Graves in Alton High Street on the same day, as well as another section 4a public order offence.
He has been remanded in custody pending sentencing on February 4.
