WITH the UK thrown into another lockdown, escaping to a world of high society and romance through the new period-drama Bridgerton has been a past-time for many.
Netflix has projected Bridgerton’s viewings to hit 63 million households within just 28 days of its debut, making it the fifth-largest Netflix Original series launch ever.
It’s also already reached number one on Netflix’s top 10 in 76 countries.
Not only are people binge-watching the show, but it seems they’re also searching for their dream Georgian-era home.
Zoopla has put together a list of the most-popular Bridgerton-esque homes for sale on the market right now in Hampshire.
Tom Parker, Consumer Expert at Zoopla said: “With the country being plunged into a nationwide lockdown, we’re now spending more time in our homes than ever before. Some people may be experiencing a little bit of cabin fever and wanting some escapism, and Netflix’s latest release, Bridgerton, has done just that.
“Set in the Regency era, this series is the perfect way to switch off during lockdown. Not only are the costumes and parties full of glamour, but the range of properties that are shown throughout the series really showcases the beauty of the period.
"If you're a fan of Georgian homes, there's plenty of stunning Hampshire properties on the market to choose from. With everything from Georgian estates, town-houses and even an army barracks on offer, Hampshire offers a wide variety of charming homes with period features that are perfect for Bridgerton fans.”
