A body has been found in the search for a missing man from near Fleet.
Hampshire Constabulary said that that found a body while searching for Robert Earles today (January 28). He had gone missing from Church Crookham, near Fleet, on January 25.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but his family has been informed and are being supported by officers.
A search for Robert Earles began after his family were "extremely concerned" for his welfare, having last been seen on January 25 at 11pm at his home.
He had not been in contact with his family since that date, with police later launching an appeal on January 27 following "extensive enquiries."
He was believed to have still been in the Church Crookham area, but he also had links to Newbury, Basingstoke and Farnborough.
The 23-year-old was described as being white, around 6ft 1 tall, of large build and with short dark brown hair that is thin on top.
Today, January 28, police announced that their searches had uncovered a body.
The body has not yet been formally identified as Robert, but his family is currently being supported by specialist officers.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
